PROCESSABILITY ANALYSIS

The processability of the newly synthesised rPEXs will be evaluated for extrusion processes. It will consist in the following steps:

1-General characterisation of the feedstocks (DSC, TGA, MFI, rheology etc.),

2-Definition of the extrusion processing parameters (barrel and die temperatures, screw speed). They are set based on the general characteristics of the feedstock and general considerations of the extrusion process, and

3-Evaluation: extrudability, extrudate appearance, phase separation (visual, DSC, microscopy...).
